here's a pic that's somewhat surreal. the rectilinear forms on the lower third of the frame are at stark contrast with the organic, pastoral nature of the upper portion.

this decorative wood railing would fit right in with the bucolic scenery of the English countryside.

handrail

here's another shot of the centrally framed handrail disappearing into infinity. this one gives me vertigo for some reason. maybe it's because the left side of the handrail is lower than the right. or the block shapes shadows of the building silhouetted on the rock wall. regardless, it's cool.

here is an awesome shot of a white railing in a home. this a retro victorian look that reminds me of high society and white gloves. I also really like the abstraction of this shot.
