amnesty railings

check out what amnesty international has done using metal railings. they installed a picture that is only visible from the side. the 'picture' is actually a series of cutouts on the sides of balusters on a metal railing in London. why they did an installation in London to highlight the case of a man on death row in Georgia, United States, is anyone's guess! but it looks cool nevertheless

check out this metal finial on a rusty wrought iron railing. I like the way the horizontal railing mimics the horizon and delineates the field of blue and the field of green. did you notice what are sticking out of the grass?
